It is a busy life we live in. Often, there is not much time to reconnect with your other half in a meaningful way because of chores, kids, work, socialising, family obligations, friendships, tiredness, rush, and general life’s madnessโ€ฆ

I was wondering what my husband and I could do to find some time to be together and be creative at the same time without spending tons of money, without travelling far.

So, during my self-care sessions with Koshi bells, I asked myself: “What can I creatively bond and connect with my husband without much fuss?”

To my surprise, an excellent answer came to me!

We set up one evening a week for our date night. On the first one, we thought of fun and simple activities we could do together, wrote them down on post-it notes and put them in a box. We draw one each week and do the activity together. I must tell you – there is a lot of laughter, a lot of fun and a lot of quality time involved. We both love it!

What is in our creative date-night box? Here are some ideas for you:

๐ŸŽ play charades,
๐ŸŽ draw a portrait of each other,
๐ŸŽ tell a story together,
๐ŸŽ do origami,
๐ŸŽ learn to play a song on the ukelele,
๐ŸŽ do a silly dance,
๐ŸŽ say I love you in as many languages as you can find on google translate,
๐ŸŽ write a poem together,
๐ŸŽ learn a dance from youtube, etc.

These are just a few of the ideas that are in our box.

What are yours?

Maybe you and your other half may create your box this Valentine’s day?

Or, maybe, you could create your box with your best friend?

Or just for yourself to have a fantastic date night with your beautiful self?

Anyways, have fun!

Sending you much love!
