Today, my son and I went exploring the frozen world. What a feast to imagination it was! We saw a tiny ice rink for the fairies in the frozen puddle and crystal mossy coats for tree trunks.
We were wondering who made thr grass and the trees white? Was it Lady Winter with her elves who painted them? Or was it Grandfather Frost sprinkling his frosty dust?
Changing seasons are a great opportunity to invite storytelling and creativity into our lives. There is an inspiration around every corner – an invitation to connect with our children, partners, friends and ourselves through making up stories about wonders of nature and her magic. Frost on a leafy carpet, frozen puddles, smoke of breath twirling in the air, coldness, darkness – you choose. There is a story in there. Just let yourself be creative.
What stories do you see in the frozen world?
